She hates the term, but she’s rock royalty.

How To Win a Grammy is her first feature.

Producer, Co-Director
PRAKRITI MADURO
Actress, writer, director, activist… theater nerd.
An impressive body of work in the Latin American film industry. She even has a fan club in Rumania from her various tv roles in Venezuelan telenovelas.
A TEDx Speaker, a Berlinale Talents fellow, a Fundación Carolina scholarship recipient, a The Lee Strasberg alumni. A restless creative soul. She has directed theater plays, stop-motions commercials, music videos, web series, and narrative short films.
How To Win a Grammy is her first feature.

Cinematographer
XANDER
Xander is an Emmy Award–winning cinematographer and director known for turning big ideas into striking, human stories. His work ranges from raw, docu-style pieces to bold, high-end campaigns for brands like Google, Nike, NFL, Adidas, Clinique, and MTV, always with a commitment to authenticity.
A hands-on creative with a punk-rock spirit, Xander has directed award-winning campaigns, built a post-production studio from scratch, and captured unforgettable moments for ESPN, Royal Caribbean, and beyond. He now calls New York home, where he keeps finding new ways to make visual storytelling feel alive.

Co-Producer
MARCEL RASQUIN
Venezuelan filmmaker. Drummer.
20+ years in the industry. His work ranges from film, documentary, late night comedy tv, theater, music videos and commercials.
The guy who made Hermano, winner of dozens of international awards, and Oscar candidate for the foreign language category.
A Sundance Institute fellow and recipient of the NBC Universal global talent fellowship. Producer of the hit Netflix movie Simón, directed by Diego Vicentini.

OUR CAST
For a mockumentary to truly shine, the performances have to feel real, like a documentary, but with that spark of authentic comedy. That’s why we brought together a group of talented improvisational actors, ready to blur the line between reality and absurdity.
